About Sen

Occupation | 3rd Year Computer Engineering Student, |
Standing at 164cm tall, Sen is a walking canvas of color, texture, and silver embellishments. She currently has a spine tattoo and 11 ear piercings. Sen fearlessly experiments with shimmering metallics and unexpected textures. While they embrace a vibrant and experimental palette, black remains a constant in her wardrobe, grounding her looks with a touch of mystery. She exudes an air of confidence and individuality, always pushing the boundaries of their comfort zone.
Despite the lavish lifestyle, Sen's humor is keen of Filipino street humor, usually known as "kanal humor," often seen throwing street and internet slangs, cursing at every chance they get, and always makes puns about almost anything she could think of, something that is not common in their family's tight ship. In contrast to their playfulness outside of their home, Sen's solace can be found in her penthouse, where she can be seen playing video games for who knows until when, masking the pressure of deciding between pleasing her father or continuing her life as the family's letdown.
Sen is a walking paradox; fiercely independent yet always looks for her older brother when push comes to shove. She flowed through the world like a feather on a breeze with her easy laugh and always amused smile. She was an expert at deflecting, and her sharp wit and self-deprecating humor served as a well-made barrier against the burden she bore. The implicit weight of her family's legacy and the nagging sense of expectation were hidden beneath the careless charm.
Backstory
Early Years
The birth of Seine Antoine Cho was just as big of a headliner as her brother's. Being a daughter to the head of M&G Real Estate and a renowned Filipina fashion designer sparked a question that will dictate her future; should she take her mother's path, or walk down her father's? The real estate and fashion industry were at the edge of their seats as the Cho siblings came to life. While her older brother quietly excelled in his studies, Sen’s early years were a blur of scraped knees, muddy overalls, and the persistent, rhythmic thump-thump-thump of her kart as she kept sneaking out after class to go karting with her classmates. She possessed a fierce independence, a stubborn streak that could rival the most seasoned negotiator, and a laugh that could fill a room. Even then, a hint of the rebellious spirit that would define her was evident. While other little girls played with dolls, she preferred playing on consoles and handhelds, dismantling them, fascinated by the intricate workings within.
Growing up
Being born in 2000 made her straddle the line between the analog world and the digital age. While other girls her age were discovering pop stars, Sen found her idols on the racetrack and there she found her idol, Sebastian Vettel, while idly flipping through the channels on the television. She devoured every race, analyzing his racing style, researching the cars' mechanics, and hoping to one day feel that surge of excitement for herself. For Sen, racing was more than just a spectator activity; it sparked a deeper interest. She wanted to get behind the wheel because she wanted to know how things operated and how an automobile's intricate systems came together to produce such a symphony of speed. The roar of the engine, the click of the keyboard, these were the sounds of her becoming, the whispers of a future she was determined to claim.
Adolescence
Unbeknownst to her, she was the constant focus of her parents’ attention, their problem child in need of shaping. Their attention was a continuous suffocating strain she didn't completely understand, even though it was frequently conveyed as criticism for her fixation with racing. Each lecture about responsibility, each pointed comparison to her dutiful older brother, was a missed connection, a widening gap between their expectations and her reality. This constant, negative attention fueled her brother’s resentment. He, too, craved their validation, but his quiet diligence was often overshadowed by her dramatic defiance. To Sen's heartbreak, her brother's confrontation about her own irresponsibility and stubbornness, jealousy manifested in the form of harsh words and cold shoulders that stung more than outright anger, leading to resentment towards each other. Her older brother who she looked up to for being the golden child, her brother that always did great academically, became the first man that broke her heart.
For months, silence stretched between them, a cold war fought with slammed doors and pointed avoidance. Then, something shifted. Maybe it was a shared, weary glance across the dinner table, a mutual understanding of their parents’ unwavering focus, or maybe it was a late-night conversation, whispered through the thin walls that separated their rooms. Whatever the catalyst was, the ice broke. They discovered their shared frustration, a mutual understanding of the pressure they both lived under. They began to talk, really talk, for the first time, sharing their fears, their frustrations, and their longing for their parents’ unconditional acceptance.
Sen, now a 3rd Year Computer Engineering student in Mapua University, is still laser-focused on her passion. While juggling a demanding academic load, she battled tooth and nail to be given the chance to drive, or at the very least, to work as a data analyst and support the racing industry. She was opposed to being the family's heiress, resulting to her father using covert surveillance as he was sure he could get her back on the "right" track. When her drag racing expeditions were discovered, there was a flurry of activity and quick action. Racing was strictly prohibited, and a driver was assigned to keep an eye on her whereabouts. However, Seine's revolt was only strengthened by this oppressive control. She had to give up racing outright, but she didn't leave the world she loved behind. She merely changed her focus and started working as a remote data analyst for the drag racers she had previously raced against. The digital roar of engines replaced the visceral excitement of the track as her bedroom, now a high-tech command center, pulsed with the flow of data. She continued to run, albeit in a new seat, demonstrating that her spirit remained wild despite the most rigorous inspection. Despite still being involved with her first love, Sen would be lying if she said she's happy where she's at currently.
